GCS Malta is seeking a Chef to join one of Malta’s leading restaurants.
 

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes while ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Managing kitchen orders, stock rotation, portion control, and Mise en Place.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Supporting the Head Chef and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver excellent service.
  • Assisting in training and guiding junior staff when required.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment (1–2 years minimum). Background in an à la carte restaurant or 5* hotel is considered an asset.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a positive and proactive attitude. Capable of performing under pressure while consistently delivering high-quality dishes.

Fluency in English; knowledge of Maltese and/or Italian is an advantage.
