GCS Malta is looking for a Finance Manager to work with leading contracting company in Malta.

 

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
• Developing and documenting accounting processes to strengthen internal controls.
• Assisting in yearly budgeting and business planning.
• Liaising with external auditors and preparing documentation for audits.
• Supporting Board Members and Management with financial information.
• Managing accounts payable, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and payments.
• Handling intercompany billing and balance reconciliations.
• Performing monthly bank reconciliations in line with company policies.
• Monitoring cash balances and updating weekly cash flow forecasts.
• Preparing monthly management accounts, profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.

 

Applicants must possess an Accounting qualification, such as an ACCA certification or a University Degree in Accounting.

This role requires strong proficiency in Shireburn Accounting and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Strong teamwork, communication, and proactive skills, combined with excellent organization and attention to detail are essential.
