GCS Malta is looking for a Junior Accountant to work with leading contracting company in Malta.

 

Responsibilities

• Assisting with accurate recording of financial data and daily issue resolution
• Supporting the streamlining of accounting processes and internal controls
• Aiding in monthly management accounts preparation and variance analysis
• Performing bank and control account reconciliations
• Monitoring cash flow and analysing financial performance
• Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Collaborating with IT to improve financial automation and reporting
• Coordinating audit preparation and liaising with external auditors
• Supporting Group Management as needed

 

The ideal candidate must be ACCA part-qualification to Degree level F1-F9 or similar.

This role requires solid knowledge of Shireburn Accounting and SAP Business One, along with the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication, planning, and time management skills are essential.

Proficiency in using Microsoft office applications is essential.
