GCS Malta is looking for a Procurement & Logistics Officer to work with leading building-services company in Malta.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and reviewing purchase requests from departments, ensuring compliance with company procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Preparing and managing all documentation for material requests.
  • Coordinating with shipping partners for efficient shipment bookings and managing port charges.
  • Communicating with internal requestors on estimated delivery times and resolving procurement issues.
  • Collaborating with haulers and transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Working with Stores personnel to optimize storage facilities and meet organizational needs.
  • Overseeing logistics operations to minimize delays in material delivery.
  • Maintaining detailed records of procurement activities, including orders and shipments.
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational ethical standards.

 

The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, whilst previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.

Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
