GCS Malta is looking for a Lead Service Technician to join a leading energy equipment supplier.
Responsibilities
- Performing on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Coordinating and leading daily activities of the service team
- Reviewing service reports and identifying follow-up actions
- Sourcing and quoting parts or services as needed
- Liaising with suppliers for accurate and timely procurement
- Managing maintenance agreements, service schedules, and client requests
- Ensuring service documentation and invoicing are completed accurately and on time
- Communicating with clients to provide updates and maintain strong relationships
- Contributing ideas to improve internal processes and service quality
The ideal candidate should hold a Wireman License A and/or B, along with a Gas Handling/F-Gas License (Category 1–4). A technical background in mechanical systems, HVAC, or related fields is an advantage, as is previous experience in maintenance and service coordination.
This role demands strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, along with the ability to deliver excellent customer service. The candidate should also be adept at managing multiple tasks and leading a small team effectively.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with service reports and quotation tools, are essential, along with a valid driving license.
