Associate (Lawyer) - Financial Services

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Associate (Lawyer) – Financial Services to work with a leading multi-disciplinary law firm in Malta.

 

Responsibilities

• Advising clients across all sectors regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority, including crypto, asset management, payment services, electronic money, banking, insurance, and pensions.
• Assisting with licensing processes and ongoing regulatory obligations for regulated entities.
• Supporting clients in mergers and acquisitions involving regulated entities.
• Assisting with stock exchange listings and capital markets matters.
• Representing clients in proceedings before the Arbiter for Financial Services

 

The ideal candidate must hold a warrant to practice as an Advocate with at least 1 year’ post-qualification experience. An LLM or similar Master’s Degree in a relevant area will be considered favourably.

This role requires the ability to work under pressure and be result-oriented, whilst also able to work within a team.

Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
