GCS Malta is looking for a Finance Manager to join a leading hospitality group in Malta.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with management accounts, budgeting, and property company reporting.
- Managing the Billing Team and reporting to the Group Financial Controller.
- Overseeing creditors, cash processes, and monthly reconciliations.
- Reviewing fixed assets, inter-company, and overhead compliance.
- Reviewing finance SOPs and improving processes and controls.
- Managing tax credits, EU funds, and investing in Skills claims.
- Supporting VAT, ECO tax, and Intrastat reporting.
- Handling MBR submissions and supporting audits, board reports, and regulatory filings.
- Supporting group restructuring and regulatory changes.
The chosen candidate must have a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, whilst previous experience working as a finance manager, especially in the hospitality industry, would be considered an asset.
This role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is essential.
