GCS Malta is seeking a Senior Auditor to join a leading corporate service provider in Malta. The role involves managing statutory audits end-to-end, reviewing financial statements, supervising junior auditors, and delivering high-quality audit recommendations.
 

Responsibilities

• Managing statutory audits from planning through to completion.
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with applicable accounting frameworks and reporting requirements.
• Identifying audit issues and providing clear recommendations.    
• Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior auditors.
• Supporting the induction and on-the-job training of audit associates.
• Preparing and reviewing tax computations in accordance with local tax regulations.
• Assisting with audit projects and other assignments as directed by the audit partner.

One must be in possession of a University Degree or advanced stages of ACCA, whilst 2-3 years of relevant work experience is considered an asset. 

This role requires strong knowledge of IFRS, ISAs, and local regulatory requirements.

Excellent analytical, research, problem-solving skills are essential, as well ad having the ability to lead teams and work independently.
