GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Service Manager to join one of Malta’s leading tech companies.
Responsibilities
- Implementing ITIL-based service management practices
- Managing incidents, requests, problems, and knowledge within SLAs
- Acting as escalation point for major incidents and stakeholder communications
- Monitoring service performance, availability, and change management
- Managing suppliers and third-party services against SLAs
- Leading service reviews, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting SOWs, proposals, tenders, and contract extensions
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and mentoring junior team members
The ideal candidate should hold an ITIL Foundation Certificate, with at least one additional intermediate module or hands-on experience implementing an ITIL process, along with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
This role requires experience in adopting ITIL practices, managing a technical team of direct reports, working with third-party suppliers, and effectively handling internal and external conflicts, risks, and issues.
Strong proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to read, interpret, and apply technical journals, specifications, international standards, contracts, and tender documentation.
