Lift Installer

GCS Malta is looking for a Lift Installer to work with leading contracting company in Malta.

 

Responsibilities

• Reading, interpreting, and working from technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Installing lift components including guide rails, motors, control panels, wiring, doors, and safety systems
• Performing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic work as required
• Testing and adjusting lift systems to ensure proper operation and regulatory compliance
• Coordinating installation activities with other trades and contractors on-site
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and plan modifications
• Following strict health and safety protocols and using PPE at all times
• Identifying and reporting issues, hazards, or defects to the supervisor
• Providing customer handover and basic operational guidance after installation

 

The ideal candidate should hold a technical qualification in mechanical, electrical or related engineering discipline, whilst previous experience in lift/elevator installation is preferred.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills is essential, along with the ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

One must have strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces. A valid driving license is preferred.
