Group Stock Inventory Controller

GCS Malta is looking for a Group Stock Inventory Controller to work with leading contracting company in Malta.

 

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring all stock movements are correctly recorded.
• Conducting stock counts and investigating discrepancies.
• Overseeing and supporting the Store Supervisor and daily store operations.
• Implementing and maintaining stock control procedures and documentation.
• Ensuring proper storage, labelling, safety, and audit readiness.
• Managing all inventory categories, including materials, consumables, tools, and finished goods.
• Liaising with Project Managers and Procurement to forecast and ensure material availability.
• Supporting continuous improvement of store systems and processes.

 

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in stock or inventory management, preferably within a multi-site or group setting.

Applicants must be familiar with stock or ERP systems, whilst experience in construction, engineering, MEP, or technical industries is considered an asset. Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills is essential.

Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
