GCS Malta is looking for a Head of Procurement & Logistics to work with a leading group of companies in Malta, specializing within the automotive industry.

 

Responsibilities

• Managing group-wide procurement and supplier relationships.
• Consolidating purchasing to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
• Overseeing logistics, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Managing inventory control and stock optimization.
• Coordinating import/export and delivery processes.
• Preparing reports on procurement, logistics, and inventory performance.

 

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent, and have at least five years’ experience in procurement and logistics, preferably within a multi-sector environment.

This role requires experience in procurement and logistics within automotive, construction/real estate, or industrial equipment sectors, along with strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in procurement and ERP systems.
