Analyst – AML & Compliance

GCS Malta is looking for an AML & Compliance Analyst to work with a local assurance firm.

 

Responsibilities

• Assisting in ensuring the Firm's compliance with laws, rules, and regulations as directed by the Head of AML & Compliance
• Monitoring updates in regulatory and legislative requirements
• Identifying compliance risks and helping to improve controls to address them
• Supporting the Firm in maintaining a strong compliance framework across all operations
• Providing compliance assistance to other departments
• Assisting with regulatory information requests and reporting
• Maintaining accurate documentation of customer interactions and due diligence
• Assisting with opening bank accounts for clients
• Performing other related tasks as needed

 

The ideal candidate must be in possession of MQF level 5 or better in Risk Management and/or Anti-Financial Crime and/or AML or a related field, whilst a minimum of 2 years in a similar role is considered an asset.

Ideally, have sound knowledge and experience of KYC procedures, and due diligence requirements. Strong organizational and meticulous skills are essential.

Excellent spoken and written English is required, along with proficiency in using MS office.
