GCS Malta is looking for a Lawyer to work with a local assurance firm.

 

Responsibilities

• Assisting with legal work across corporate, immigration, employment, contractual, data protection, compliance, shipping, and regulatory matters
• Drafting and reviewing legal and corporate documentation
• Supporting immigration processes, including work permit and residency applications
• Reviewing, updating, and maintaining firm policies
• Handling ongoing client requests within the Legal Team’s scope
• Monitoring legal and regulatory developments across relevant practice areas
• Liaising with competent authorities on behalf of clients
• Conducting legal research and preparing case law and jurisprudence analysis
• Managing and supporting ad-hoc legal projects as required
• Attending client meetings and providing ongoing support to the Legal Team
• Assisting with legal and administrative tasks as needed

 

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.

The role requires the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team, with strong organisational skills and the capacity to meet strict deadlines.

Fluency in both written and spoken English and Maltese is essential.
