GCS Malta is looking for a Client Accountant to work with a local assurance firm.
Responsibilities
- Preparing, updating, and finalising accounting records
- Processing technical and non-technical data in accounting systems
- Preparing and submitting personal and VAT tax returns
- Preparing management accounts and trial balances
- Maintaining cash books and accounting journals
- Liaising with regulatory and supervisory authorities
The ideal candidate must be ACCA qualified or qualified from the University of Malta, whilst working experience within an accounting team is considered an asset.
Strong organizational, meticulous and communication skills are requiring, along with a proactive approach and be self-motivated.
Fluency in both English and Maltese language is essential, along with proficiency in using Microsoft office applications.
