GCS Malta is looking for a Software Developer to work with an IT development company. The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing critical products for the company’s clients and offer excellent technical support.
Responsibilities
- Planning and designing the structure of a technology solution
- Developing and implementing new software programs
- Maintaining and improving the performance of existing software
- Designing and updating software database
- Recommending improvements to existing software programs as necessary
- Designing and communicating system requirements to 3rd suppliers
- Monitoring systems to ensure good governance, security, and sustainability including business continuity
- Overseeing assigned projects from a technical perspective and providing advice to clients
The chosen candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or ICT or Business and ICT or Software Engineering or ICT Systems or Software Development or equivalent at MQF Level 6 (or higher).
One must have 4 years experience in developing technology architecture and full stack development.
Good knowledge of web technologies such as, C#, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure), Mobile Development, Microsofy.net framework and API’S are a must.
Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively is a must, with the ability to communicate in Maltese and/or English.
