GCS Malta is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to work with one of Malta’s leading group of companies. The Manager will be reporting directly to the CFO.

 

Responsibilities

• Overseeing manufacturing cost accounting, budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
• Managing labour and overhead cost control, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Leading and developing the analyst team and supporting performance reviews.
• Acting as finance partner to Manufacturing and Technical teams on planning, OEE, and cost optimization.
• Supporting ERP data integrity, capital project evaluations, and investment analysis.
• Providing management insights, KPI reporting, and decision support to senior management.
• Driving continuous improvement, risk management, and compliance across manufacturing finance.

 

Ideally, candidates should hold a Master’s Degree in Business or a BCOM in Accountancy/Finance and/or an accountancy qualification, with at least 8 years of experience, including 5 years as a Finance Manager, preferably in FMCG.

This role requires strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to provide strategic advice with strong business acumen.
