GCS Malta is looking for a Ward Clerk to join one of Malta’s leading Hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Answering calls and assisting patients, visitors, and staff with queries.
- Admitting patients, updating bed states, and verifying non-clinical details.
- Managing patient files, discharge summaries, and theatre paperwork.
- Liaising with insurance companies and ensuring deposits for self-pay patients.
- Organizing in-patient appointments and supporting ward operations.
- Assisting IT and performing tasks with minimal supervision, escalating issues as needed.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in an administrative role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare.
Strong organizational, communication and teamwork skills is essential within this role, one must have excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanour.
Proficient use of computer systems and Microsoft office is required.
