GCS Malta is looking for a Ward Nurse to join one of Malta’s leading Hospitals.

 

Responsibilities

• Providing bedside care for pre- and post-surgery patients.
• Assessing, planning, and implementing patient care with the healthcare team.
• Monitoring and recording patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administering medications and reporting adverse reactions.
• Educating patients and families on illness, surgery, and home care.
• Leading and participating in discharge planning.
• Supervising and supporting junior nursing staff.
• Maintaining accurate health records and documentation.
• Ensuring a safe, hygienic, and professional environment.
• Participating in audits, quality assurance, and staff training programs.

 

The ideal candidate should hold a recognized Degree in Nursing and possess a current license as a Registered Nurse with the Nurses & Midwives Council of Malta.

This role requires in-depth knowledge of nursing care practices and emergency procedures, along with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff at all levels within the hospital.

Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, are essential.
