GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager – Strategy to join a local public agency.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with all sections to monitor the implementation of the National AML/CFT strategy and organizational objectives.
- Participating in the development of AML/CFT strategies, aligning with ML/TF trends and legislative changes.
- Managing and coordinating strategic initiatives and cross-sectional projects, ensuring agreed actions are implemented.
- Attending conferences, seminars, workshops, and internal committees to stay updated on local and international AML/CFT frameworks.
- Providing ad-hoc support for evaluations, assessments, or studies conducted by relevant regulatory or international organizations.
- Performing any other duties assigned by senior management.
The ideal candidate should hold an MQF Level 6 qualification with five years of experience—preferably in AML/CFT—including at least one year in a senior role. Alternatively, candidates with an MQF Level 5 qualification and seven years of experience will also be considered.
Candidates must demonstrate a track record of efficiency, diligence, a solution-oriented mindset, and creativity, along with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
One must be self-motivated and have a proactive approach, capable of working independently and leading tasks or projects with minimal supervision.
