GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Technical Operations Engineer to join of Malta's leading service providers. The chosen candidate will be joining the Billing & CRM team.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in application and system monitoring and maintenance at a senior level, which is considered an asset.
This role requires expertise in monitoring tools and automation scripting, as well as strong proficiency in Linux and shell scripting.
Strong teamwork, problem-solving and analytical skills are required.

Responsibilities
- Monitoring application, database, and server systems for performance and uptime.
- Performing proactive maintenance to improve platform stability and performance.
- Conducting root cause analysis for effective incident resolution.
- Utilizing and enhancing monitoring tools to detect and address application issues with CRM developers.
- Developing and maintaining documentation to optimize operational processes.
- Mentoring junior team members and promoting collaboration and growth.
