GCS Malta is seeking a Structural Engineer to work with one of Malta's leading construction companies.

 

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing structural designs, calculations, and drawings for concrete and steel structures
• Assessing structural integrity of new and existing buildings in compliance with local regulations
• Liaising with architects, project managers, contractors, and authorities
• Conducting site inspections and providing technical guidance during construction
• Ensuring compliance with Maltese standards, Eurocodes, and health & safety regulations
• Preparing technical reports and method statements as required
• Supporting project planning, value engineering, and on-site problem-solving

 

The ideal candidate must hold a Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and possess a warrant to practice as a licensed engineer in Malta. Candidates with 2–5 years of structural engineering experience in the construction industry will be highly regarded.

One must have strong knowledge of Eurocodes and Maltese building regulations, along with proficiency in structural analysis and design analysis.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
