GCS Malta is looking for a Technical Sales Solution Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading international companies.
 

Responsibilities

  • Developing order-winning strategies
  • Managing enquiries from receipt to submission
  • Preparing costed, compliant proposals and tenders
  • Reviewing technical, commercial, and administrative specifications
  • Leading bid teams and coordinating inputs
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Conducting site visits and surveys
  • Interpreting drawings and presenting design concepts
  • Managing multiple enquiries and priorities
  • Following up proposals and converting to contracts
  • Reviewing contracts, purchase orders, and handovers
  • Ensuring compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and H&S
  • Maintaining accurate and organized documentation
  • Sourcing materials and managing inventory control
  • Motivating, coaching, and developing team members
  • Addressing disciplinary matters and leading by example
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Managing budgets, KPIs, and operational performance

The selected candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and have at least 3 years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, with experience in fire safety and security being a plus.

Ideally, the applicant must be proficient in project management software with a strong understanding of budgeting principles and financial management practices.

Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills are essential, along with having attention to detail. A valid Maltese driving license is required.
