GCS Malta is hiring a Loan Officer to join one of Malta’s leading financial institutions.
The successful candidate will possess, or be working toward, a diploma-level qualification in Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Prior experience in an administrative or banking support role is a plus, though not mandatory.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of credit or financial services and demonstrate a detail-oriented, organized, and communicative approach to their work.
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Outlook are essential.

GCS Malta is hiring a Loan Officer to join one of Malta’s leading financial institutions.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation, processing, and administration of credit files and documentation.
- Inputting and updating client and facility data accurately in internal systems.
- Following up with stakeholders or clients to collect outstanding documentation or clarifications.
- Supporting tracking of credit approvals, expiries, renewals, and monitoring conditions precedent/subsequent.
- Conducting basic reviews of client documentation for completeness and consistency.
- Preparing draft reports or summaries for internal use as directed by senior team members.
- Monitoring reminders and action items related to credit files and escalating overdue items.
- Filing and maintaining documentation in line with bank and regulatory requirements.
- Providing general administrative support to the Credit Department as required.
