GCS Malta is looking for an Operations Manager to work with a leading company in Malta.
The ideal candidate must have more than 10 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably within FMCG or multinational environments and/or top-tier consultancy firms.
This role requires a proven track record in building end-to-end operations, executing trade engagement initiatives, and driving business activities, combined with strong financial acumen, budget oversight, and P&L management. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and project management skills are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, along with fluency in English and Maltese; knowledge of any additional European language is an advantage.

Responsibilities
- Managing relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key partners.
- Setting up and overseeing end-to-end distribution operations and optimizing value chain performance.
- Leading strategic planning for channel growth, market expansion, and new business opportunities.
- Developing direct retail operations by identifying new store locations and delivering projects from concept to launch.
- Managing indirect retail partners and key accounts through contract negotiations and store visibility initiatives.
- Developing consumer engagement activities through partnerships with key local stakeholders.
- Monitoring KPIs, sales performance, and overall business results.
- Coordinating sales forecasting, promotions, and sales cycle execution.
- Managing P&L budgets and preparing regular performance and business reports.
- Recruiting, managing, and developing retail and field teams while ensuring compliance with brand and operational guidelines.
