GCS Malta is looking for an Accounts & Payroll Executive to work with one of Malta’s leading financial companies.
 

Responsibilities

• Posting and processing invoices and journal entries.
• Maintaining digital and physical accounting records.
• Managing accounts receivable and payable, including reconciliations.
• Updating financial data and preparing weekly/monthly reports.
• Preparing monthly or four-weekly payrolls.
• Assisting with work permit applications and audit liaison.
• Supporting day-to-day client operations and banking matters.
• Providing general accounting and payroll support to Directors.

The ideal candidate should hold an MQF 5 in Accounting or in the process of obtaining ACCA qualification, whilst previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset. 

This role requires a sound understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting principles, together with working knowledge of Shireburn and Xero. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with a high level of attention to detail. A strong numerical aptitude and analytical mindset are also required.

Fluency in both Maltese and English is essential, together with proficient use of Microsoft applications.
