GCS Malta is looking for an Electrical Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading solar energy companies.
The ideal candidate should be a Warranted Electrical Engineer (MQF Level 6 or higher preferred), ideally holding License A or B, with at least 3 years of experience in site-based electrical work, inspections, or QA/QC roles considered an asset.
Candidates must have strong knowledge of Maltese electrical regulations and REWS procedures, the ability to read electrical drawings and schematics, and proficiency in using electrical testing instruments.
A valid driving license is essential.

GCS Malta is looking for an Electrical Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading solar energy companies.
Responsibilities
- Conducting QA/QC inspections of electrical installations (LV systems, distribution, earthing, lighting, containment)
- Verifying work against approved drawings, specifications, and regulations
- Performing or witnessing electrical testing (continuity, insulation, loop, RCD, polarity)
- Issuing and signing electrical certificates, test sheets, and compliance documents
- Identifying non-conformities, issuing NCRs, and verifying corrective actions
- Maintaining QA/QC records, inspection logs, and handover documentation
- Liaising with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, and authorities
- Supporting commissioning, inspections, and project handover
