GCS Malta is searching for a Head of Tax Advisory to work with one of Malta’s leading corporate companies.
The ideal candidate should be a fully qualified accountant or tax professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in taxation. A professional tax qualification is preferred; however, candidates without one must demonstrate strong technical expertise and a commitment to obtaining the relevant certification.
The role requires strong leadership skills with experience in building or managing a department or business line, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, and a proven capacity to identify and drive business growth opportunities.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and relevant business development tools such as CRM systems are needed.

Responsibilities
- Leading the development and strategic growth of the Tax Advisory function
- Building, managing, and mentoring a team of tax professionals
- Ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations (FATCA, CRS, DAC, ATAD, Transfer Pricing, Pillar 2)
- Providing advanced tax advisory services to corporate, international, and HNWI clients
- Researching complex tax matters and delivering practical solutions
- Developing tax processes, methodologies, and internal procedures
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Preparing and delivering client presentations and proposals
- Representing the firm at conferences, seminars, and industry events
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to expand services
- Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Monitoring regulatory changes and market trends to support business
