GCS Malta is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work with a leading engineering company in Malta.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline and preferably possess an engineering warrant or be actively pursuing it. This role requires several years of experience in technical design offices or engineering firms, with proven experience in the industrial, pharmaceutical, or related sectors.
Candidates must have technical knowledge of HVAC and black utilities systems, including water, steam, air, and drainage, with design and EPCM experience. Familiarity with fire suppression, construction technologies, GEP, Malta regulations, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD are required; Revit knowledge is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and management skills are essential. Fluency in English is required, Italian is a plus, and a valid driving license is necessary.

Responsibilities
- Performing activities and drafting technical documentation for HVAC and black utilities projects.
- Preparing P&IDs and system layouts for black utilities.
- Calculating and sizing ducts and piping networks.
- Preparing bills of quantities and material take-offs.
- Producing technical reports and requesting quotes from external suppliers.
- Evaluating supplier bids technically and economically.
- Conducting site inspections and field surveys.
- Coordinating HVAC and black utilities specialists, drafters, and external suppliers.
