GCS Malta is looking for a Litigation Lawyer to work with a legal firm in Malta. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of civil litigation cases from initiation through judgment and enforcement.
  • Drafting and reviewing court documents, including judicial letters, sworn applications, replies, appeals, and written submissions.
  • Representing clients before Maltese Courts, Tribunals, and relevant authorities.
  • Advising clients on property transactions, real estate disputes, leases, development agreements, and planning matters.
  • Handling disputes related to ownership, boundaries, easements, construction, and landlord-tenant issues.
  • Providing legal advice on planning permits, regulatory compliance, and appeals procedures.
  • Conducting legal research and delivering clear, practical legal opinions.
  • Liaising with clients, architects, notaries, developers, and government bodies.
  • Supporting negotiations and alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.

The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer warranting to practice in Malta, with at least three years’ experience in civil law, preferably with a strong background in property and planning matters.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environments are essential. 

Fluency in written and spoken Maltese and English, along with proficiency in Microsoft applications, is required.
