GCS Malta is looking for a Finance Manager to work with one of Malta’s leading building services companies.
The selected candidate must hold a Degree or is in the process of obtaining a Degree in Business Management with specialising in Accountancy or ACCA qualification.
Applicants should have a solid understanding of local finance and tax legislation, along with strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. They must be self-motivated, capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines, and possess strong organisational abilities.
One must be computer literate and familiar with accounting management software, knowledge of Sage 50 systems will be considered an asset.

GCS Malta is looking for a Finance Manager to work with one of Malta’s leading building services companies.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and posting monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger entries
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures
- Compiling management accounts and analysing variances against budget/forecast figures
- Reconciling balance sheet and bank accounts monthly
- Producing and analysing monthly payroll reports
- Preparing statutory returns, including VAT
- Supporting CFO with budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and year-end processes
- Assisting in audit file preparation
- Maintaining clear communication within the department and updating the CFO on issues or queries
- Ensuring financial integrity by implementing and maintaining proper financial procedures and practices
