The ideal candidate holds relevant certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, and ITIL, and brings proven experience in systems administration, including Windows Server, Linux, and VMware environments.
The role requires a strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and cloud platforms, along with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
One must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and can manage multiple client accounts efficiently and professionally.

GCS Malta is looking for a Managed Systems Administrator to work with a leading IT company.
Responsibilities
- Administering and maintaining client servers, networks, and cloud platforms (Azure and AWS).
- Monitoring system performance and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime.
- Implementing and managing security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance controls (SIEM, DLP, Secure Score).
- Acting as the main technical point of contact and account manager for assigned clients.
- Conducting technology stack alignment checks during site visits and recommending system improvements and upgrades.
- Preparing client-facing reports on system health and internal performance reports for continuous improvement.
- Automating processes such as user provisioning, patching, and compliance checks.
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation for configurations, changes, and procedures.
