GCS Malta is looking for a Systems Administrator to work with a leading IT company.
The ideal candidate will preferably hold professional IT certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and will also have at least one year of relevant hands-on experience in a technical environment, which will be considered a strong asset.
The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, including confident telephone manner, active listening, and a customer-focused approach. A solid understanding of IT support tools, service techniques, and the practical use of technology in delivering IT services is also essential.
Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.

GCS Malta is looking for a Systems Administrator to work with a leading IT company.
Responsibilities
- Handling remote and on-site service requests promptly and professionally
- Providing IT support for Microsoft technologies and virtual environments (Microsoft, VMware, etc.)
- Supporting Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, Microsoft 365, and Azure systems
- Assisting with disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Delivering network-level support for WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, and security systems
- Implementing and supporting remote access solutions (VPN, Terminal Services, Citrix)
- Maintaining system documentation and providing technical recommendations
- Communicating clearly with customers regarding incidents, changes, and outages
- Escalating unresolved service or project issues in line with service levels
- Developing strong understanding of customer business needs and IT requirements
- Recording time, expenses, and all support activities in ConnectWise
- Working on service and project tickets as assigned by Project Managers
- Keeping technical knowledge up to date through industry publications and training
