GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Data & Solutions Developer to join one of Malta’s leading FMCG companies.
The ideal candidate should be in possession of a Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field (MQF6), whilst at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role is essential.
This role requires strong programming and scripting skills, with experience in C#, Python, SQL, or PHP considered an advantage. One should be familiar with databases, ETL tools, and data integration, understand software development best practices, and be able to troubleshoot complex data and application issues effectively.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, coupled with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Designing and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Developing and supporting custom applications and system integrations.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data workflows and solutions.
- Ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
- Preparing technical documentation and supporting testing and deployment.
