Job Description
Do you have previous experience working in compliance, risk management or countering financial crime?

GCS Malta is looking for an Executive – Governance, Risk & Compliance to join one of Malta’s Leading Financial Companies.
The chosen candidate must possess an Undergraduate University Degree or equivalent in law, financial services, criminology or related, whilst a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in compliance, risk management or countering financial crime is considered an asset.
One must bring deep expertise in local and international AML/CFT regulations and stay ahead of emerging industry developments. Ideally, have a proven track record in conducting rigorous risk assessments, drafting robust internal policies and procedures, and managing end-to-end AML/CFT investigations to ensure full organizational compliance.
Excellent communication, analytical and project management skills are essential, along with a high attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities
- Undertaking customer due diligence measures.
- Assisting with customer onboarding and risk management tool implementation and maintenance.
- Collaborating with teams on technical queries related to financial crime.
- Conducting AML and CFT audits and assessments.
- Supporting AML and CFT projects, including investigations and remediation activities.
- Performing AML/CFT risk assessments and gap analyses for clients across industries.
- Developing and implementing AML/CFT policies and procedures for clients.
- Advising clients on AML/CFT regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Assisting in drafting and maintaining internal compliance policies, manuals, and procedures.
- Preparing and delivering compliance training programs and regulatory reports.
- Staying up to date with local and international AML/CFT regulations and industry developments.
