GCS Malta is looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to join one of Malta’s leading industrial companies.
The ideal candidate should be an experienced auto mechanic, preferably holding a High School Diploma, along with vocational school certification or completion of a formal apprenticeship.
One should have excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components, along with practical experience using vehicle diagnostic systems.
Ideally, must be skilled in handling various tools and heavy equipment, and committed to following all safety precautions to protect against accidents, hazardous fluids, and chemicals.

GCS Malta is looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to join one of Malta’s leading industrial companies.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting vehicle engines and systems
- Collaborating with the manager and mechanics to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components
- Listening to clients to understand vehicle history, issues, and requested services
- Performing test drives, inspections, and diagnostic tests to identify problems and required repairs
- Conducting preventative maintenance, including oil changes, fluid replacements, and brake servicing
- Generating repair timelines and estimates, discussing options with clients
- Inspecting internal systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of clients, vehicles, parts, and service history
- Using shop equipment for maintenance and repairs as instructed
- Engaging in ongoing learning to update technical knowledge and skills
- Advising clients on car maintenance and care
- Diagnosing vehicle issues efficiently and accurately
