GCS Malta is seeking a Group Head of HR to work with one of Malta’s leading group of companies.
The chosen candidate must have prior executive HR leadership experience, preferably within a multi entity or group structure. Experience supporting organizational growth or transformation and working in complex or regulated environments and exposure to mechanical and electrical operations is an advantage.
The role requires strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate people strategy into tangible business outcomes, along with the credibility and presence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively. A data-driven approach to decision-making is essential, with a clear focus on execution, results, and the highest standards of integrity, judgement, and discretion.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills, along with strong strategic-thinking, are essential.
Fluency in Maltese language is a must.

Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering Group HR strategy aligned with business growth.
- Advising executives on organizational design, workforce risk, and succession planning.
- Leading leadership development, culture, and performance management initiatives.
- Building and managing a high-performing HR function with clear service standards.
- Driving people change management linked to transformation and growth.
- Overseeing senior recruitment and succession planning for key roles.
- Designing and managing compensation structures, incentives, and HR budgets.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and managing employee relations risk.
- Establishing a scalable HR operating model and leading HR digitalization and analytics.
- Leading people due diligence and post-merger integration activities.
- Providing workforce insights and strategic reporting to executive leadership and the Board
