GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Chef De Partie to join the team at one of Malta’s prestigious venues & caterer.
 

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within the assigned section
  • Supervising and guiding junior kitchen staff and commis chefs
  • Ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
  • Assisting in menu preparation and recipe development
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen section
  • Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering ingredients
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations

Applicants holding a certificate in Culinary Arts or a Diploma in Professional Cookery will be preferred, while 1–2 years of experience in a similar role or within a high-volume professional kitchen environment will be considered an asset.

This role requires strong knife skills and a basic understanding of various cooking methods, along with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A team-oriented attitude and a genuine passion for food are essential.

The ideal candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
