GCS Malta is looking for a Merchant Integration & Operations Specialist to join one of Malta’s leading financial companies.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Finance, or equivalent experience, with a background in merchant support, fintech, or e-commerce, and a strong understanding of the payment’s ecosystem.
This role requires the ability to interpret issuer response codes (soft and hard declines) and troubleshoot authentication issues.
One should be a structured thinker capable of coordinating across risk, finance, and product teams, with an analytical mindset, comfortable using dashboards, transaction logs, and SQL/analytics tools to drive continuous improvement.

GCS Malta is looking for a Merchant Integration & Operations Specialist to join one of Malta’s leading financial companies.
Responsibilities
- Managing merchant onboarding and platform integration
- Coordinating API, plugin, and dashboard integrations
- Ensuring compliance with operational, technical, and PCI-DSS requirements
- Providing onboarding guidance, documentation, and training
- Acting as the main contact for merchant support and inquiries
- Troubleshooting transaction and technical issues
- Monitoring performance metrics and preparing reports
- Managing chargebacks, settlement queries, and risk-related matters
- Communicating card scheme requirements (Visa, Mastercard) to merchants
