Banking Supervisor

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Banking Operations Supervisor to join one of Malta’s leading accounting firms. 
 

Responsibilities

• Supervising and reviewing Banking Officer tasks for accuracy and timely completion
• Overseeing client bank account openings and reviewing due diligence documentation
• Acting as escalation point for complex or high-risk banking applications
• Managing KYC periodic reviews and daily banking administration tasks
• Liaising with banks, e-money institutions, and financial providers
• Supporting onboarding of new banking channels and loan facilitation projects
• Developing and refining internal banking procedures and workflows
• Assisting with resolutions, statutory forms, company incorporations, and corporate changes
• Maintaining company registers and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Coordinating with authorities and internal supervisors to align banking and corporate processes

The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in banking operations or within a corporate service provider environment.

This role requires strong knowledge of KYC, due diligence, and banking onboarding procedures, along with practical understanding of Maltese corporate law and statutory requirements, and experience in supervising or mentoring team members.

Strong leadership, organizational and stakeholder management are essential.
