GCS Malta is looking for an Accounts Assistant to work with one of Malta’s leading accounting firms.
The selected candidate should ideally be in the early stages of ACCA and holds an A' Level in Accounting, whilst a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Maltese is required.

Responsibilities
- Posting day-to-day accounting transactions
- Processing supplier and customer invoices
- Assisting with accruals and prepayments
- Supporting VAT return preparation
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accounts up to trial balance level
- Preparing documentation and supporting schedules for audit purposes
