GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Plant Engineer to join an international pharmaceutical company.
The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Degree in Engineering or equivalent, whilst at least 2 years’ experience in an Engineering department is considered an asset.
This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across all departments. It demands a strong commitment to working safely and meeting deadlines, as well as the ability to handle pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and remain focused when challenges arise.

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Plant Engineer to join an international pharmaceutical company.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring equipment upkeep through inspections and operational reviews
- Supporting breakdown repairs, emergencies, and spare parts sourcing
- Preparing and reviewing equipment qualification documents and activities
- Maintaining GMP-compliant equipment review and qualification programs
- Managing preventive maintenance plans and execution
- Overseeing equipment certifications and regulatory compliance
- Managing pest control and calibration activities
- Supporting projects, including planning and supplier coordination
- Reviewing SOPs and ensuring GMP compliance
- Performing additional duties as required
