GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Senior Associate – Quality Control to work with a local public agency.
The ideal candidate should hold an MQF Level 6 qualification in audit, accounting, economics, financial services, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, or an MQF Level 5 qualification with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Applicants must have strong knowledge and practical understanding of laws governing the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing in Malta, as well as relevant international standards and EU legislation.
Applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, strong analytical abilities, and report writing skills are essential.

Responsibilities
- Documenting, updating, and communicating internal policies and procedures.
- Conducting quality checks on supervisory work and AML/CFT compliance.
- Participating in committees and reviewing compliance results.
- Providing internal training on supervision policies.
- Coordinating supervisory work records and statistics.
- Liaising with local and international authorities.
- Supporting strategic direction and implementation of supervisory functions.
- Assisting with ad hoc projects like risk assessments and system development.
- Preparing questionnaires and supporting evaluations by regulatory bodies.
- Representing the organization at international meetings and workshops.
