Project Manager - Contracting

GCS Malta is looking for a Project Manager to work with leading contracting company in Malta. 
 

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets 
• Coordinating design reviews and ensuring compliance with specifications and standards 
• Overseeing procurement and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services 
• Leading and supervising on-site MEP works execution 
• Monitoring progress, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions 
• Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations 
• Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams 
• Chairing project meetings and providing progress reports 
• Supervising and mentoring engineers, estimators, site staff, and subcontractors 
• Ensuring MEP installations meet design drawings, local codes, and international standards 
• Conducting quality inspections, coordinating testing, and resolving technical issues 
• Managing project handover documentation and final acceptance 
• Monitoring project costs and controlling expenditures within budget 
• Reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices and variations 
• Supporting claims, change orders, and contract negotiations

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in project management, preferably within the contracting, engineering, or a related industry.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and multitasking skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential within this role.
