GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Junior ICT Engineer to join one of Malta’s leading group of companies within the tech industry.
The ideal candidate must have 2-4 years’ experience in an ICT support or engineering role, whilst industry certifications such as CCNA, MCSA or related is a plus but not mandatory.
This role requires strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching), Windows Server and Active Directory, and Microsoft 365/cloud services. Experience with firewalls, network security, and virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) is also needed, along with the ability to work independently and within a team.
Fluency in English is requires, along with a valid driving license.

Responsibilities
- Providing Level 2 technical support to clients, both remotely and on-site.
- Assisting senior engineers with Level 3 troubleshooting and system deployments.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment, servers, and end-user systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving network, system, and application issues.
- Supporting ICT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
- Maintaining technical documentation, network diagrams, and service reports.
- Following internal procedures, security standards, and best practices.
- Escalating complex issues and supporting resolution processes.
