GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Building Services Engineering to work with leading contracting company in Malta.
The ideal candidate should hold a degree or qualification in mechanical, building services or related, whilst previous experience in a similar position is considered an asset.
This role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical building systems, as well as familiarity with construction processes and site supervision. Experience working on commercial, residential or large-scale infrastructure projects is essential.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills are required.

GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Building Services Engineering to work with leading contracting company in Malta.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring availability of technical and commercial data for design, drawings, and cost estimates in line with tender and contract requirements.
- Leading mechanical design development and validating technical solutions for assigned projects.
- Preparing and coordinating workshop drawings in alignment with structural, architectural, and service requirements.
- Reviewing and approving materials, equipment submittals, and samples for compliance and cost efficiency.
- Developing detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs from tender documentation.
- Analysing tender specifications to identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive and compliant quotations.
- Overseeing procurement processes, including preparation and approval of purchase orders.
- Providing technical support during project execution and resolving installation and coordination issues.
- Acting as the main technical contact for clients, attending meetings and providing mechanical system expertise.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to align design, cost, and execution strategies.
- Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing work to ensure compliance with company standards.
