GCS Malta is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work with one of Malta’s leading security companies.
 

Responsibilities

  • Conducting ongoing cost analysis to meet project financial targets 
  • Managing interim payment assessments and cost control processes 
  • Preparing monthly WIP reports and tracking financial performance 
  • Performing on-site measurements and maintaining accurate records 
  • Monitoring material usage, issues, and returns per project 
  • Coordinating with Project Leaders to verify subcontractor rates and improve cost efficiency 
  • Preparing claims documentation in line with specifications and contract documents 
  • Managing design variation claims and resolving additional cost issues 
  • Reviewing subcontractor payments and certifying invoices 
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations on all projects 
  • Maintaining quality standards and following company procedures 
  • Supporting site protocols and compliance requirements 
  • Assisting in resolving client and subcontractor disputes 
  • Maintaining confidentiality and protecting client information 
  • Attending training to maintain skills and industry compliance

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role considered an advantage.

A methodical and logical approach is required, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs. Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills, along with a high level of attention to detail, are essential.
