GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Commercial Manager to join one of Malta’s leading FMCG companies.
 

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong long-term supplier relationships to support mutual growth 
  • Collaborating with suppliers on joint business planning, product development, and market expansion 
  • Securing supplier budgets and managing internal fund allocation 
  • Equipping and supporting sales teams with tools and resources for commercial execution 
  • Implementing sales strategies to maximise performance and results 
  • Communicating commercial plans across sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment 
  • Conducting regular in-store reviews to identify growth opportunities     
  • Supporting the onboarding of new brands and market entry strategies 
  • Working with internal teams on brand positioning, pricing, and go-to-market plans 
  • Monitoring brand performance and recommending improvements to profitability and market share 
  • Managing forecasting, budgeting, and commercial planning for key customers and channels 
  • Overseeing commercial budgets, expenditure control, and claims processing 
  • Ensuring accurate stock forecasting and supplier order management

The ideal candidate should hold a University Degree or equivalent in a business-related subject, whilst 2-3 years’ experience in a similar commercial or business management roles is considered an asset.

 This role requires demonstrated experience in identifying, sourcing, and negotiating with new suppliers.

Fluency in both written and spoken English and Maltese is essential, along with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications. A valid driving license is needed.
