The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a supervisory or senior technician role within a spray shop or similar environment.
This role demands in-depth knowledge of automotive paint products, materials, and equipment, along with strong leadership abilities to effectively supervise, guide, and support a team.
Strong organizational skills are required, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workloads effectively.

GCS Malta is looking for a Spray Shop Supervisor to work with one of Malta’s leading rental companies.
Responsibilities
- Leading, supervising, and supporting spray shop employees in daily operations
- Providing training, guidance, and on-the-job support to ensure quality and efficiency
- Planning, assigning, and monitoring work to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Approving leave requests and managing staff shift scheduling in Indigo
- Communicating with clients to address queries and provide updates on ongoing work
- Liaising with clerks to book jobs, confirm approvals, and coordinate workloads
- Managing walk-in clients and preparing quotations when required
- Scheduling insurance, quote, and walk-in jobs in the workshop system
- Ordering paint, materials, and tools to maintain stock availability
- Ensuring all jobs are completed to company standards and within agreed timelines
- Closing job files accurately upon completion of vehicles
- Billing paint and materials used per job and ensuring correct allocation
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation for audit purposes
