Spray Shop Supervisor

GCS Malta is looking for a Spray Shop Supervisor to work with one of Malta’s leading rental companies. 
 

Responsibilities

• Leading, supervising, and supporting spray shop employees in daily operations 
• Providing training, guidance, and on-the-job support to ensure quality and efficiency 
• Planning, assigning, and monitoring work to meet deadlines and customer expectations 
• Approving leave requests and managing staff shift scheduling in Indigo 
• Communicating with clients to address queries and provide updates on ongoing work 
• Liaising with clerks to book jobs, confirm approvals, and coordinate workloads 
• Managing walk-in clients and preparing quotations when required 
• Scheduling insurance, quote, and walk-in jobs in the workshop system 
• Ordering paint, materials, and tools to maintain stock availability 
• Ensuring all jobs are completed to company standards and within agreed timelines 
• Closing job files accurately upon completion of vehicles 
• Billing paint and materials used per job and ensuring correct allocation 
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation for audit purposes

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a supervisory or senior technician role within a spray shop or similar environment.

This role demands in-depth knowledge of automotive paint products, materials, and equipment, along with strong leadership abilities to effectively supervise, guide, and support a team.

Strong organizational skills are required, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workloads effectively.
