GCS Malta is looking for a Sales & Design Engineer (Electrical) to work with leading contracting company in Malta.
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, whilst proven experience in electrical systems, building services, renewable energy or similar industries is considered an asset.
Candidates should have strong knowledge of electrical design, power distribution, and system sizing, with familiarity in relevant standards and solar PV systems being an asset. Experience with design software and tendering is preferred. Strong commercial awareness, communication skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings, along with good organisational and time management skills, are essential.
Proficiency in using Microsoft office and quotation/CRM systems is essential.

Responsibilities
- Managing client enquiries and providing electrical technical advice
- Designing and proposing electrical, HVAC, solar PV, and energy systems
- Preparing load calculations, layouts, technical proposals, and quotations
- Handling tenders, ensuring compliance and timely submission
- Developing client relationships and supporting business growth
- Providing technical support and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintaining accurate documentation, pricing, and client records
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitoring orders, timelines, and keeping clients updated
- Preparing reports and following up quotations within deadlines
- Ensuring compliance with standards, safety, and company objectives
- Performing additional duties as required
